A science museum where you can discover, play and experience. The new Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico of Pordenone presents as the other IS museums, a museum setting of new generation with display techniques and interactive multimedia, strongly based on the use of informal methods of teaching animation.
There are 2 exhibition sections, Fenomena and Kaleido, in addition to the spaces dedicated to the informal education activities and edutainment: as the other center of Immaginario Scientifico, great attention is given to the younger public, in particular to children and teens from primary to secondary school. For children from 5 to 10 the Immaginario Scientifico organizes the edutainment workshops Sunday Scientists: water rockets, volcanoes, sundials, parachutes or cute “blow mice” allow participants to get in touch with a simple scientific principle and at the same time have fun freeing creativity.
